Droughtmaster advertising campaign ' my breed my future'December 2011

With the Droughtmaster Society celebrating 50 years in 2012 they have launched a new advertising campaign titled 'my Breed my Future'.  Don was asked to be involved in this campaign.  The advertisement featuring Don was on the back page of the Queensland Country Life at the end of December. 

16 November 2011 - Ian named Cattle Council's Rising Beef Industry Champion

Congratulations to Ian on his latest award.  Capping off a big 2011, Ian has this week been named by the Cattle Council as the 2012 NAB Agribusiness Rising Beef Industry Champion.  Ian will now go on to represent young Australian beef producers at the International Livestock Congress and the Western Stock Show and will tour cattle facilities in Denver, Colorado, US in January 2012. View Queensland Country Life story ..... July 2011 – Limited number of Bulls remaining available for sale

Due to a successful Beef Week and a number of inspections occurring before Beef Week, we now only have a limited number of bulls remaining for sale.  As is our practice of selling bulls with full fertility guarantee, bulls are being held until we carry out semen testing  in late August/early September.  Purchasers can pick up the bulls then or we may be able to arrange delivery.  Please contact us to arrange an inspection.

July 2011 – Successful Beef Week Opening

Thank you to the many visitors who called in and inspected our cattle during Beef Week.  We had a very successful day with sales including 3 bulls, 3 cows PTIC and two weaner heifers.  We thank those that purchased and wish them all the very best with their purchases.

June 2011 - Don invited to judge at Ekka

Congratulations to Don on being invited to judge at the Ekka.  Don will be judging the Romagnola and South Devon breeds on the Friday of beef judging.

June 2011 - Success in Prime Cattle

Once again we exhibited Prime Cattle at our 3 locals shows.  We sold the majority of our cattle earlier this year to take advantage of the higher prices being offered by the processors. We held back only a small team to be shown, results included :
